Richard "Richie" Artemus Myers, 34, of Burrell Township, peacefully passed to his heavenly home, May 15, 2017.

He was born on May 25, 1982, to Richard Boyd Myers and Teresa Stiltner Myers at Magee Women's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Richie was a graduate of United Cerebral Palsy, Spring Church and the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh. Even with the challenge of cerebral palsy he enjoyed all his family activities - fishing, boating, hunting, park and mall "strolling" and attending church. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of West Kittanning and currently attended the First Baptist Church of Leechburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Willard Artemus and Katherine Wheeler Stiltner of Worthington; siblings, Dr. Michael (Michelle) Myers of Moore, SC, Gregory (Stacy) Myers of Spring Church, PA and Stephanie Myers Demming (John) of Wayne, PA; with many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Greenleaf and Ruth Boyd Myers of Burrell Township.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 19, in the Welch Funeral Home, Ford City, and from 10-11 a.m., Saturday at Grace Baptist Church. The service for commemoration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Kaminski and Pastor Jonathan Potter officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery.
