Carole A. Miller, 77, of McGrann, passed away March 11, 2024, in ACMH Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Born July 4, 1946, in Vandergrift, she was a daughter of the late James and and Kathleen (Nelson) Glacken.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ford City. Carole was a 1964 graduate of Kiski Area High School, and retired from Riverside Market in 2007. She was proud of her family, and loved being a grandmother. Her grandchildren called her as "G" and they were her life. Her new great-granddaughter, Aspyn, was the latest addition to the family. She enjoyed watching Family Feud, and going to Crystal's Cafe.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Miller; her son, Jeff (Tina) Miller of Ford City; her daughter, Melissa (John) Crawford of Ford Cliff; her grandchildren: Jasmine Crawford, Taylor Crawford (fiance, Ryan Pearce), Tess Crawford, Jennifer Miller, and Christina Miller; her great-granddaughter, Aspyn James Crawford; two sisters: Linda Bowman and Cindy Pencak, both of Vandergrift; and her brother, Gary Glacken of Sarver.
Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.
