James Frank Lang Kellner, 89, of Rayburn Township, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in his home.
Born November 13, 1928, in Dubois, he was son of the late Frank and Bertha (Lang) Kellner.
He worked for PPG Industries for 14 years, and then worked for Pepsi Cola Company for 21 years.
Mr. Kellner was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Manorville.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, taking care of his lawn, watching his grandchildren run arround, sitting on his porch with his dog, Katie, going to Florida for winters, and going to flea markets.
Jim is survived by his wife of 72 years, Jean (Shotts) Kellner; two sons, John Kellner of Ford City and Joel (Janet) Kellner of Kittanning; two daughters, Judy Brochetti (fiance, Michael Huber) of Cincinnati, OH, and Jill (Randy) Moore of Kittanning; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Kellner of Kittanning; his grandchildren, Sharon (David) Kellner, Tim (Andrea) Kellner, Jenessa (Ty) Heller, Dustin (Eden) Kellner, Ryan (Shelby) Moore, Patrick (Alicia) Moore, Janice Brochetti (Jan Mellon), Melissa (Steve) Blose, Doug (April) Brochetti, Nick (Jen) Kellner, and Chris (Meghan) Kellner; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Peace of Dubois.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James "Butch" Kellner; a brother, Lamar Kellner; and three sisters, Marie Galentine, Julia Wuey, and Caroline Kessler.
Friends will be welcomed from 6-9 p.m., Friday, in the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Additional visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Manorville, from 9 a.m., Saturday, until the time of funeral service at 10 a.m., with Rev. Jack Delk officiating. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
