Jean C. Kennedy

Jean C. Kennedy, 74, of Ford City, died Monday, May 14, 2018, in her home.  Born September 22, 1943 in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Grant and Jane (Duncan) Claypool.  Jean worked as a legal secretary for the law firm of McCue, Bertocchi and Heim, from which she retired after many years of service.  She enjoyed going to camp, spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and making homemade candy.  She also loved her dog, Rufus.  She is survived by her husband, Darryl Kennedy; her daughter, Sharon (Michael) Bauer of Ford City; a brother, Theodore (Karen) Claypool of Kittanning; and a sister, Kathleen Hamm of Colorado.  Friends will be welcomed on Friday, May 18, 2018, from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m., in the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Rev. Robert Pascoe will officiate.  Interment will be private.
