William F. Kromer, Jr. 82, of Kittanning, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, in the Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Kittanning.
He was born November 12, 1936, in McGrann, a son of the late William F. and Margaret (Reitler) Kromer, Sr.
Bill worked as a baker for Food Lion in Butler. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Kittanning. He was a member and past president of the Ford City Eagles and the Odd Fellows. He enjoyed traveling and gardening.
He is survived by his children Stewart (Dawn) Kromer of Ford City, Kim (Dewey) Clark of Mesa, AZ and Andrew W. (Lorri) Kromer of Manorville, grandchildren, Joshua Kromer, Erica (Jim) Jackson, Noah Horning, Nathan Horning, Kelly (George) Healey and Hank Kromer, great grandchildren Olivia Horning, Kaeleigh Jackson, Gunner Jackson, Kylea Kromer and his first wife, Patricia Stivason.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Katherine (Peters) Kromer; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Healey; brothers, Earl E. Febinger and Robert Febinger; and one sister, Elsie Walters.
Viewing and services are being held privately and interment will take place in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. His arrangements have been entrusted to the Welch Funeral Home, Ford City.
