Alex A. Booher

Alex A. Booher, 30, of Jeannette, formerly of Ford City, died Thursday, January 26, 2023 in the Indiana Regional Hospital as a result of an auto accident.

He was born February 3, 1992 in Kittanning,  son of Kelly Andrew and Cathy Jo (Smail) Booher .

Alex graduated from Ford City High in 2011 and then graduated from  the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2015.

Alex was an illustrator working for Christian Faith Publishing of Meadville. He enjoyed doing anime (Japanese cartoons), attending Cos Play Conventions attending drag shows and meeting drag queens. He also enjoyed video online gaming, hanging with his friends and playing card games..

Surviving are his parents of Bethel Township, one brother, Joshua Daniel Kuhta of Ford City, his maternal grandmother, Pamela (Helsel) Smail of Bethel Twp and his fiance, Kayla Lynn Totos of Jeannette (formerly of Ford City). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Smail and paternal grandparents, Paul and Patricia Booher.

Friends will be welcomed at the at the Welch Funeral Service LLC., 1032 Fourth Avenue, Ford City, on Wednesday February 1, 2023. from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
