Andrew Ned Roberts, 22, passed away on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2022, with many family members there to say goodbye.
Andrew was born on July 2, 1999, to his mother, Rebecca Roberts. He graduated from Pressley Ridge, where he also lived for several years. His teachers, classmates, and caregivers at Pressley Ridge were an instrumental part of his life, and his family is grateful for everything they did for him.
He had a love for entertainment, which included superheroes, Lightning McQueen, dragons, Aladdin, and Ben 10. He had a sweet and coy demeanor. Andrew lived his life with autism which gave him the opportunity to be loved and cared for by so many people.
He will be dearly missed by his sisters, Kim Pauline and Julie Menge, along with their families: brother-in-law, Jeff Pauline; niece, Ramona; brother-in-law, Nate Menge, and nephew, Simon. He will also be missed by aunts and uncles, Tim and Cheryl Roberts, and Art and Nancy White, and cousins: Melanie, Angela, Nick, David, and Matthew. But most of all, he will be missed and loved everyday by his mother Becky, who was his biggest supporter and cheerleader.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ned and Jeane Roberts, and nephew, Carson Pauline.
Andrew’s visitation and burial will be private to family and friends. The family requests that donations can be made in his name to the Pressley Ridge School for Autism. Arrangements are entrusted to Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.
