Beverly Ann Davis, 74, of Worthington, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in Quality Life Services, Sugarcreek.
Born February 14, 1948, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Frank Francis Julius and Laverne Lucille (Cogley) Julius Boyle.
She earned her nursing degree from Butler County Community College, and worked as a nurse until 1972, when paralysis from multiple sclerosis ended her nursing career. She then worked as a stenographer for Slippery Rock University.
She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Brady’s Bend, and a former of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning.
Her hobbies included reading, doing crossword puzzles, gardening, and playing bingo. She also loved her Pittsburgh teams, especially the Steelers. She was a member the Pomona Grange and the Donegal Grange.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacey (Bryan) Kirkham of Pelion, SC; her son, Gregory (Peggy) Davis of Grove City; three granddaughters; two grandsons; seven great-grandsons; and two brothers, James H. Julius of Sioux City, IA; and Frank A. Julius of Vanderbilt, PA.
In honoring Beverly’s request, there will be no public visitation or services, and interment will take place in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements are in the care of Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
