Brett A. Retzer

Brett A. Retzer, 29, of Ford City, died Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in Boggs Township, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.

He was born September 14, 1994 in Kittanning, a son of William M. and Suellen (Simon) Retzer.

Brett worked for Under Cutters Tree Service of Ohio that cleared trees for gas wells. He loved to go to "The Edge" in Ford City.  He loved his German Shepherd "Sable".  He enjoyed working outside and loved being with his family.

He is survived by his parents, of Ford City, and two brothers, Brandon Simon and Bill Retzer.

Brett was preceded in death by uncle, Albert Lee Simon.

Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Services will be private. Interment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery.  To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
