Bruce E. Hankey

Bruce E. Hankey, 59, of Ford City, died Friday, January 14, 2022, in his home.

Born April 14, 1962, in Kittanning, he was a son of the late Harry Hankey, Jr., and Marlene R. (McKee) Hankey.

Bruce was last employed by Specialty Tires of America in Indiana.  He was a member of the Ford City VFW and a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club.  An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and working in his garage.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda (Ed) Cooper of Ford City; two nieces, Angel Craft and Christa Cooper; and two nephews, Stanley Hankey and Steven Cooper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark A. Hankey.

Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Interment will be private.  To share memories or condolences with his family, please visit www.welchfh.com.
