Carol Spachtholz Ayers, 74, of West Kittanning, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023, after a long illness.
Carol was born to Louis and Anna Spachtholz on October 3, 1949. She was a graduate of Ford City High School.
She worked for the Armstrong School District her entire career. Upon retirement, she enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by both of her parents, as well as her brother, Frank Spachtholz.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Fair; her brother, James Spachtholz and his wife, Nancy; his sister-in-law, Mary Spachtholz; and several nephews and nieces.
Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, with a private a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Orphans of the Storm, the local pet rescue, an organization about which Carol felt very strongly.
