Catherine E. (Kovach) Klingensmith

Catherine E. (Kovach) Klingensmith, 53, of Ford City, died Saturday, April 22, 2023, in Quality Life Services, Sugarcreek.

Born February 6, 1970, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Stephen P. and Veronica A. (Golab) Kovach.

Cathy was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, Ford City, and was the director of religious education at the former Holy Trinity Church, Ford City.

She enjoyed using Facebook, spending time with her dogs and shopping.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Ronald W. Klingensmith, Jr., whom she married on December 7, 1989; her children, Emily E. (Nick) Rosemiller of Kittanning, and Ronald William Klingensmith, III of Elderton; her sisters, Linda (Kevin) Housley of Leechburg, and Theresa (Barry) Barnett of Ford City; and her brother Stephen (Margaret) Kovach of Freeport.

Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Welch Funeral Service LLC., 1032 Fourth Avenue, Ford City.  Prayers of transfer will be offered at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, in the funeral home.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., at Christ, Prince of Peace Church, with the Very Rev.
