Darryl P. Kennedy

Darryl P. Kennedy, 78, of Ford City, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in the VA Hospital H.J. Heinz Campus, Aspinwall.  He was born March 23, 1940, in Kittanning.  Darryl served four years with the U.S. Navy. He worked for Pepsi Cola, with the R&L Distributor in Kittanning.  He was a member of the Ford City V.F.W., and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his camp with family and friends.  He is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Michael) Bauer of Ford City, and was preceded in death by his wife, Jean (Claypool) Kennedy, who died May 14, 2018.  At Mr. Kennedy's request, there will no public visitation or services.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.
