David G. Emery

David G. Emery, 71, of Edinburg (formerly of Kittanning), died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

Born December 9, 1952, in Natrona Heights, he was a son of the late James and Alice Jean (Ewing) Emery.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and faithfully attended Mass at Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, Ford City.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Schauer) Emery, whom he married on December 5, 1981; his children: James Emery, Emily Emery, and Chris Emery; two brothers: Sam Emery and John Emery; and a sister, Cathy Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Don Emery.

Viewing and Funeral Mass will be held privately for his family at Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, with the Very Rev. Eric J. Dinga, V.F., as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.
