Dewey E. Gauker

Dewey E. Gauker, 68, of Bethel Township, died Thursday, November 23, 2023, at his residence.

Born June 19, 1955, in Kittanning, he was the son of the late Dewey E. and Janet (Toy) Gauker.

Dewey was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and was employed as a precision machinist by Toolex Manufacturing in Leechburg.

He attended Salem Baptist Church in Walkchalk. Dewey enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, riding his motorcycle, traveling, camping, and working with wood; and was known to be a "jack of all trades".

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Gray) Gauker; his children: Tonya (Walter) Miller of Kittanning, Dewey H. Gauker of Leechburg, and Katie (Anthony) Stump of Ford City; 10 grandchildren; and his sisters: Terri Ann (Greg) McKinley of Kittanning, Sandra (Mark) Hrabczuk of Kittanning, Janice (Zak) Dermidzakis of Ford City, and Sally (Bob) Conklin of Ford City.

Family and friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Walkchalk Salem Baptist Church, where a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.  Arrangements are entrusted to Welch Funeral Service, LLC, Ford City.
