Doris "Jean" Sheasley, 91, of Ford City, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian.
She was born July 8, 1930, in Kittanning, to the late Charles and Velma (Roudybush) Dunn, and was a native of Ford Cliff.
Jean was a member of the First Church of Ford City. She formerly worked at Flynn's in Ford City. An avid bowler, she was a member of several leagues.
She is survived by a son, Larry (Judy) Sheasley of Ford City; a daughter, Debby Smith of Alexandria, VA; a son-in-law, William "Bill" Shoop of Ford City; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Sheasley; a daughter, Audrey Shoop; two sons, Gary L. and Terry L. Sheasley; and a brother, Robert Dunn.
Family members are invited to attend her viewing from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, and her funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Interment will take place in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
