Doris P. (Priester) Whittaker

Doris P. Whittaker, 93, formerly of Ford City, died Saturday, November 2, 2024, at St. Barnabas Health System, Gibsonia.

Born April 5, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Theresa (Lux) Priester.

She was a member of the former First Presbyterian Church in Ford City.  Doris enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, William (Diane) Whittaker of West Kittanning; her daughter, Amy (Michael) Fletcher of Valencia; three grandchildren: Quint and Brody Fletcher, and Amber Woodside; two great-grandchildren: Adriana and Lincoln Woodside; and a sister, Helen Black of Ford City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Whittaker, who died May 11, 1975; sister and brother-in-law, Viola and Ivan Goodbread; and brother-in-law, Tom Black.
