Dorothy Martin Andersen

Dorothy Martin Andersen, 81, of San Diego, CA, died July 13, 2024, from pancreatic cancer.

Born February 26, 1943, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Gispanski) Martin, and was a 1961 graduate of Kittanning High School.

Dorothy was a master seamstress, historian, home renovator, and interior designer.  She traveled in her RV to spend summers in West Kittanning.  She was also known to collect hoodies from Sea World.

She is survived by her by her husband of 59 years, William Andersen; a daughter, Pam (Vince) Blass; and a son, Erica (Theresa) Andersen.  She was the most proud granny of four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Dorothy is also survived by a sister, Elaine (Bob) Zanetti.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Shoes” Martin.
