Dwight L. Weigand, also known as "Mr. Green", 91, of Bethel Township, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at his home.
Born February 26, 1927, he was a son of the late Delbert Frank and Gladys Mae (Beck) Weigand.
He married the late June Crosby, and they were married 44 years. Dwight was employed as a truck driver for Apollo Gas Company, and was a dispatcher for Breaman's Express Company. He was also a lifelong farmer.
Dwight is survived by his children, Rodger (Bonnie) Weigand, Dan (Kathy) Weigand, Michele (James) Guthrie, Judy (Russ) Patz, and Constance (Bob) Crissman; his grandchildren, Jodi (Mike) Coriston, Kelly (Eric) Bishop, James John (Dri) Weigand, Lori (Brent) Marshall, Darci (Mike) Haugh, Tia (George) Martin, Adam Guthrie, Amanda (Brad) Jones, Kristy (Matt) Patz, Benjamin Crissman, and Annalyn (Brandon) Crissman; numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a cousin, Carl Weigand. He is also survived by his loving companion, Kathryn Leinweber.
In addition to his parents and his wife, June, he was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Weigand, and a son-in-law, Bob Crissman.
Friends will be welcomed from on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Monday, from 10 a.m., until the time of services at 11 a.m., in the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.
