Grace Elaine (Pore) Carli

Grace Elaine "Pore" Carli entered the kingdom of heaven as one of God’s most precious angels at the age of 84, on Monday, January 22, 2018 to join her parents, Robert and Grace Pore, relatives and friends in eternal life.

We were blessed by her gentleness of spirit, her courage, faith and warm, generous heart. Her spirit lives on in her devoted husband of 39 years, Richard "Dick" Carli, her four children Linda Weller (Gray) of Mars, PA; Tom Schrecengost (Barb) of Jackson, NJ; Bambi Stock (Pete) of Vero Beach, FL/Cranberry Twp, PA; and Richard Kensky (Jacki) of Nashville, TN, a brother, Robert A Pore (Betty Lou) of Ford City; and a sister, Garnet Pore Martinez (Michael) of Ft. Pierce, FL. Grace was also blessed with a stepdaughter Elaine Long (Jim) of Kittanning.

Her grandchildren, Matthew Weller of San Francisco, CA, Heather Stock of Grovetown, GA, and Alyssa Bryant (Mike) of Coraopolis, PA and Eric Schrecengost of Wexford, PA, will always remember her love and devotion for them. Jason Long (Jessica) of Gibsonia and Brandon Long of Kittanning (Courtney) were a part of Grace’s life as her step-grandsons. God also blessed Grace with four great grandchildren.

She graduated from Ford City High School in 1952 and worked at Armstrong Co Memorial Hospital for 35 years. She was a member of St. Lawrence Church in Cadogan and a member of the Rosary Society as well as a volunteer for Bible Camp, church dinners and numerous church events.

Visitation will be 6-9 pm on Thursday at Welch Funeral Home, Ford City. A private family viewing will be held 10 a.m. Friday before the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Church, Cadogan with Father Alan Grote officiating. Burial will be private at Guardian Angels cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Grace’s name to Lutheran Senior Life VNA/Hospice at 115 Technology Dr. Butler PA 16001
