Guy C. Beere, Jr.

Guy C. Beere, Jr., 77, of Ford City, died, November 18, 2024 in the Kittanning Health and Rehab Center.

He was born December 1, 1946 in Kittanning, son of Guy C. and Lois M. (Hetrick) Beere, Sr. .

 Guy was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Navy. He formerly was employed by AJ Myers and Sons of Kittanning, Spectrum Control, Electro Magnetics and Waldemer Park of Erie. He was a former member of the Manor Twp. Vol. Fire Dept.  He enjoyed spending time with his twin grandsons Travis and Trevor and grandaughter Kayla Toy..

Surviving are his son, Quintin Beere (Kathleen Taylor) of Tarentum, grandchildren, Travis, Trevor & Kayla, brother, Phillip Beere of Ford City, sister, Rose Reitler of Kittannning, sister, Darlene Cessna of Kittanning, brother, Tom (Mary) Beere of Kittanning, step daughter, Sonnie Morelli (Larry Midock) and three great grandchildren.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents, his companion of 25 years, Elizabeth Eileen Morelli and two sisters, Joyce Fry and Gail Beere.

Friends will be received  at the at the Welch Funeral Service LLC., 1032 Fourth Avenue, Ford City, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm where services will be held at 1:00 PM with  Pastor Randy Herbe officiating.
