Hally L. (Sharpe) Creel, 91, of North Buffalo Township, entered heaven's gates on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
Born July 1, 1931, in North Buffalo Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles N. Sharpe and Blanch I. (Bowser) Sharpe.
She married Clarence "Bud" Creel on May 23, 1946. They shared 63-plus years of marriage until his passing on December 6, 2009.
In her earlier years of life, she was a beautician. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband in their motor home, bowling, and shopping.
Hally was an active, faithful, and long-time member of the North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church. She served as a deaconess, taught Sunday school and AWANA, sang in the choir, worked in the nursery, and served as the head of the hospitality committee.
She is survived by two sons: Gary (Judy) Creel of Kittanning, and A. George Creel of McKeesport; and three grandchildren: Marci Lyn Creel, Ryan (Chrissy) Creel, and Tirzah (Pete) Harper. She also leaves behind her daily companion - her sweet Shih Tzu, "Muggins".
Friends will be welcomed from 12-6 p.m., Monday, and from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, in the funeral home, with Pastor James Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
