Imogene E. Matus, 95, of Ford City, died Monday, December 13, 2021, in The Ridge at Heritage Meadows.
Born December 29, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Tomer Edward and Rachel (Bartosh) King.
Mrs. Matus had formerly worked at PPG Industries and Lefkosky’s, both in Ford City. She also sold Avon products for 42 years. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidering, and working in her flower garden.
She is survived by her son, Daniel J. (Paula) Matus, of Ford City; three grandchildren, Michael, Marc, and Elizabeth Matus; two great-grandchildren, Laci and Caleb Matus; and a sister, Ruth Matus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse King, and a sister, Rachel Perrott.
Friends will be welcomed from 10-11 a.m., Friday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Services will follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. John Smaligo officiating. Interment will be in Ford City Cemetery. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
