Irene Rose (Zion) Lewis, 82, of Cadogan, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at her home.
Born April 12, 1936, in New Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Swanson) Zion.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Jean Lewis and Pamela Lucas; a son, Richard L. Lewis; her grandchildren, Rachel Young, Cody Lewis, Tiffany Brocious, Nathaniel Brocious, and Seth Bowser; her great-grandchildren, Cassidy Henry, Julia King, and Ryan Brocious; a great-great-granchild, Sophia Chaffin; her sister-in-law and best friend, Connie Zion; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lewis, Jr.; brothers, Joseph, William, James, Robert, and Richard Zion; and sisters, Mabel Kesphler and Patricia McIntyre.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 3 p.m., at Cadogan Union Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch Funeral Home, Ford City.
