James K. Say, 82, of Ford City, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Quality Life Services, Sarver.
He was born December 27, 1943, in Kittanning, a son of the late Harold and Blanche (Fiscus) Say.
Jim worked as a custodian for Lenape Vocational-Technical School for 31 years, retiring in 2006.
He was a member of the Ford Memorial United Methodist Church, Ford City, and the Methodist Men. He enjoyed woodworking, swimming at the YMCA, and camping.
Surviving are his wife, Eva R. (Jamieson) Say of Ford City; two sons, Bradley A. Say of Mundelein, IL, and Kenneth Richard (Christina) Say of Peoria, AZ; two granddaughters, Hannah Noelle Say and Evalynn Rose Say; and one brother, Richard (Peggy) Say of Ford City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Caroline Baker, Betty Baker, and Janet Say, and one brother, Fred Say.
Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Terri Wells officiating.
