Janice E. (Flickinger) Rupert

Janice E. (Flickinger) Rupert, formerly of Ford City, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Armstrong Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born April 17, 1944, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Myers) Flickinger.

She was a member of Appleby Manor United Presbyterian Church.

Janice attending nursing school and beauty school, and worked at Robert Shaw in Indiana.  She loved dogs and cats.

She is survived by a sister, Carolyn Zimmerman; a niece, Kim Heilman; a nephew, Michael Clark; and her dear friend, Mary Polof.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald H. Rupert, on August 5, 2012.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 10 a.m., until the time of services at 1 p.m., at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Interment will follow in Ford City Cemetery.  To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
