Jeremy J. Luketic, 48, of Bethel Township, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 9, 2023, doing what he loved, hunting with his dog and best buddy, Maclin.
Born June 29, 1975, in Kittanning, he was a son of the John “Jack” and Velma (Blewett) Luketic, of Cadogan.
He was employed as a maintenance electrician at Allegheny Technologies, Inc.
Jeremy was an active member of F&AM Lodge 437 in Apollo. He also belonged to the C.U. Club in Ford City and the Cadogan Field and Stream Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to camp. Jeremy had a big heart and helped anybody he could.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Karen (Martin) Luketic; two sons: Jonathan Luketic and Chase Luketic, both at home; an aunt, Sister Karen; a sister, Erin Radic of Kittanning; a brother, Josh Luketic of Cadogan; his grandmother, Jolene Jane Luketic; nieces and nephews: Fiona Martin, Blaze Radic, Ember Radic, Krymson Radic, and Joshua Paul “J.P.” Luketic. Jeremy also leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Luketic; his maternal grandparents, James and Velma Blewett; uncles, Paul Luketic, Jr., Charles Presko, and Gary Blewett; and a cousin, Joseph Blewett.
Family and friends may gather for a time of remembrance from 5-7 p.m., Friday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.
