Joan E. Hecht

Joan E. Hecht, 82, of Palm Springs, FL, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021, in the comfort of her home.

Born July 26, 1938, in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Marion (Rybarik) Hecht.

For 30 years, she worked as secretary in various offices.  A very religious woman, she was a parishioner of St. Luke Roman Catholic Church in Lake Worth, FL.  She enjoyed traveling, and had been all over the world.  Joan will be remembered as being a very warm and caring person who never complained.

Joan is survived by numerous cousins.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, in the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Prayers of transfer will be offered at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, in the funeral home.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., in Christ, Prince of Peace Church, Ford City, with Father Alan Grote as celebrant.  Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.  To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
