Joanna V. Weber, 85, of Ford City, died Thursday, November 16, 2017, in the comfort of her home.
Born February 16, 1932, in Windfall, IN, she was a daughter of the late Charles O. and Virginia (Brown) Stucker.
Mrs. Weber was a very active member of Ford Memorial United Methodist Church, Ford City. She was a former member of the Jr. Women's Club and was a former Girl Scout troop leader.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Raymond W. Weber; her son, Dr. Kirk (Christine) Weber of Kittanning; her daughter, Karen (Thomas) Toy of Kittanning; her grandchildren, Lauren Weber, Laura Satterfield, Patric Weber, Kristen (Taylor) Transue, grandson, Christopher P. Toy, and Michael Toy; a great-grandson, Lukas Ursiak; and siblings, Sally White of Denver, CO, Robert Stucker of Indianapolis, IN, Mickie Kies of Iowa, and Steve Stucker of Almond, WI.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Weber; a brother, Charles Stucker; and two sisters, Judy Hunter and Kay Teske.
At Mrs. Weber's request, viewing will be held privately for her family. A private committal will take place, with Rev. Alison Berkey, officiating. Entombment will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates mausoleum. Arrangements are in the care of Welch Funeral Home, Ford City.
