Joyce A. (Kane) Hagofsky

Joyce A. Hagofsky, 89, of Kittanning, died Friday, November 17, 2023, in the Kittanning Care Center.

She was born February 26, 1934, in Cadogan, a daughter of the late Clarence J. and Gladys (Whiteman) Kane.

Joyce was a member of St Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Kittanning, and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are one son, Joseph A. (Sherri) Hagofsky of Kittanning; two daughters, Kathryn M. Hagofsky of Kittanning, and Carolyn E. (Larry) Smith of Kittanning; her grandchildren: Kristin (Donald) Meighan, Joseph D. (Sarah) Hagofsky, Hannah (Jeremy) Dixon; her great-grandchildren: Mila Meighan, Grace Meighan, Joelle Hagofsky, Reece Dixon, and Janessa Hagofsky; and a sister, Donna Higginson of MO.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Hagofsky; twin sister, Janice Neal; sisters, Mary Kendall, Joanne Kane, and Deanna Kane; and brothers, James Kane and Paul Kane.

According to Joyce's wishes, the visitation and Funeral Mass will be held privately. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Rayburn Township.
