Joyce Anne (Evans) Law, died Saturday, October 2, 2021 surrounded by her family at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
Joyce worked as a Waitress at the G.C. Murphy’s Five & Ten in Kittanning and in the cafeteria at Lenape Elementary. After surviving a stroke, she devoted her life to loving her husband, three sons, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce was an avid shopper and lifelong Bingo player at the Fire Cliff VFD where you would find her every Wednesday no matter what. She loved a good flea market or yard sale, relaxing on her front porch listening to her many wind chimes, watching the neighborhood children play, spending time at the family camp, and making Christmas cookies with her sister Vivian Lasher (Evans). She also enjoyed her bus trips to Atlantic City.
She is survived by her three sons, John (Melissa) Law, Jeff (Denise) Law, and Joe Law as well as her seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, her sister Vivian Lasher (Evans), and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband John Law, to whom she was married to for sixty years, her sister Vic, her parents Jay and Agnes (French) Evans, and her brothers Jim and John Evans.
Friends will be welcomed at the Welch Funeral Service LLC, 1032 Fourth Avenue, Ford City on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held on Wednesday October 6 at 11 am.with Rev. Larry Edwards officiating.
Internment will follow at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington.
