Karen Ice

Karen Ice, 70, of Ford City, our beloved mom and friend, fell asleep in death on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

She was born on September 20, 1954.

She was a member of the Kittanning Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and zealously proclaimed the Good News of God’s Kingdom to all who would listen.

She was a kind, loving person who would give her time and effort to anyone who needed it.

Her children, Tracy Jones (Mark), Robert Ice, Jr. (Sherri), and Timothy Ice (ReNae) will miss her more than anything.

She had a special bond with her grandchildren, Brittani Troy (Salem), Becky Shields (Jacob), Corey Jones, Cody Ice, and Jesse Ice.  She never missed an opportunity to spoil her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Jemma, Madelyn, Mikhail, and Alessi.

She is also survived by her brothers, Butch Spory and Bud Clark (Cheryl), and her sisters, Pamela Larrison and Lucy Pelton (Bud), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ice, Sr., and her parents, Elwood and Shirley Clark.

A memorial service will be held at the Kittanning Kingdom Hall, 528 Troy Hill Rd., at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2024.  Immediately following the memorial, there will be a reception at the Manor Township Municipal Building.  Arrangements are entrusted to Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
