Kathleen V. "Becky" Hindman

Kathleen V. "Becky" Hindman, 98, of Kittanning, died Friday, April 9, 2021, in ACMH Hospital.

Born January 10, 1923, in Ford City, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Foster) Carpen.

Becky was a member of the Pittsburgh Garden Club and enjoyed sewing, was an avid reader, a big sports fan and really enjoyed family gatherings.

She is survived by a sister, Joan Davis of Kittanning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Hindman; three brothers, Frederick, Robert, and Gerald Carpen; and three sisters, Geraldine Dodds, Mabel Tirpak, and Mary Lou Heilman.

At Mrs. Hindman's request, there will be no public visitation.  A private service will be held for her immediate family, with interment following in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.  Funeral arrangements are in the care of Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  To share memories or send condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
