Leone L. Cousins

Leone L. Cousins, 84, of North Buffalo Township, died Sunday, May 18, 2025, in her home.

Born May 19, 1940, in Chatellerault, France, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Louisette (Briet) Jully.

Leone was a loyal member of North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church, where she was active with the nursery, the hospitality committee, VBS, and AWANA.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening, planting flowers, going thrifting, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Charles W. “Chuck” Cousins; a son, Brady Paul (Amy) Cousins; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Cousins; three grandchildren, Megan Uncapher, Brady Cousins, and Caden Cousins; and siblings, Odette, Danielle, Marianna, Claude, and Jellou.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Charles “Chuckie”, Jimmy, and Johnny Cousins, and siblings, Andre, Therese, Nadia, Paul, Paulette, and Gamia.

Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church, with Pastor Matt Forman officiating.  There will be an additional hour of visitation at the church beginning one hour prior to service.  Interment in Center Hill Cemetery.  To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
