Louise Naomi Burdett

Louise Naomi Burdett, 88, of Slate Lick, passed away June 1, 2025 in ACMH Hospital.

Born July 21, 1936, in Manor Township, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Laura (Wolfe) Rupert.

Louise was a very active member of Ford Memorial United Methodist Church, where she worked with their Care and Share program.  She and her husband, Fred, have been married for 70 years..

She enjoyed baking and cooking, and especially cooking for other people.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Harold Burdett; four sons, William (Brenda) Burdett of Washington, PA, Edward (Karen) Burdett of Kittanning, Larry (Patty) Burdett of Cabot, Richard (Kelli) Burdett of Kittanning; grandchildren: Alicia, Nicole, Alyssa, Kati, Sarah, Krista, and Carly; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Evan, and Jordan; and a great-great grandchild, Phoebe June.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Burdett; two grandsons, Eric Burdett and Kenny Roudybush; and three sisters, Beverly Grafton, Dorothy M. Galbraith, and Betty Brandon.

Friends will be welcomed from 6-8 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Ford Memorial United Methodist Church, with Pastors Terri Wells and Sara Wrona, co-officiating.  Interment will follow in Ford City Cemetery.  To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
