Margaret C. "Peggy" George

Margaret C. "Peggy" George, 69, of Parks Township, died Saturday, November 4, 2017, in ACMH Hospital.

Born February 20, 1948 in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Dorothy (Walbert) Ewing.

She formerly worked at Five Rubber and Nature's Blend. She enjoyed watching auto races, painting, dog sitting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Robert) Cieslinski of Leechburg, her son, Charles A. George; two grandchildren, Emily and Jacob; and her siblings, Marlene Isenberg of Creekside, Gene (Connie) Ewing of Erie, Patricia Walker of Erie, Gloria (Greg) Boal of Ridgway, and Debra Dunmire of Ford Cliff, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Tanner.

Friends will be welcomed on Thursday from 2-4 p.m., and from 7 p.m., until the time of a memorial service at 8 p.m., in the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Pastor Robert Pascoe will officiate.
