Margaret M. "Moog" Rich

Margaret M. “Moog” Rich, 92, of McGrann, died Thursday, May 2, 2024, in ACMH Hospital.

Born October 24, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Margaret (Walker) Rich.

She was a parishioner of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, and was a former member of the LCBA.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, shopping, and spending time with her family and their dog “Bandit”.

She is survived by her brother, Vincent (Frannie) Rich; nephews and nieces: Christopher Szostek and Lionel Bidegain, with whom she made her home, Nicole Rich, Barbara Ann Kunselman, and Mark Allen Febinger; numerous great-nieces and nephews, including Michael Waugaman; and two special cousins, Jeffrey and Lisa Shaffer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: James B. Rich and Louis Anthony Rich; sisters: Mary Katherine Szostek, Agnes Bidegain, and Baby Mary; a brother-in-law, Harry Szostek; a niece, Rovena Louise Kilgore; and two nephews: Arthur Joseph Febinger and Christopher James Rich.

Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Prayers of Transfer will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at Christ, Prince of Peace Church, with The Very Rev.
