Marilyn Natalie (Spencer) Shaffer, 92, formerly of Ford City, passed away on July 02, 2023, in Grapevine, Texas. Born July 10th, 1930.
She was one of nine children and was originally from Kittanning, PA. and then later moved to Texas in 2015. Her parents were John and Beulah Haney of Manorville, PA. She was a loving wife of (Cecil L. Spencer) and mother of five children (Robin R. Spencer, Randy D. Spencer, Sandra L. Lewandowski, Sharon D. Swaney, Russell L. Spencer).
Marilyn was very affectionate, kind and loved to help others with whatever they needed. She had an unwavering love for her father in heaven. She often stated he was her best friend, and didn’t hesitate to tell you, when she had the chance. There were challenges along the way with her health, but she was determined not to let it become a distraction. She loved being outside and hearing the birds singing. It was a time of comfort for her to be outdoors. She often talked about the farm she grew up on. How she helped her dad bale hay in the hot summer days. The love she held for her mother and dad was always on her mind. The love for her family and devotion to whoever needed her help was unwavering.
She is the last child of nine of her siblings and has been married twice. Her legacy lives on with 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great/great grandchildren. Rest in peace our loving devoted mother and grandmother.... We All Love And Miss You Dearly.
