Martha V. Sellers Obituary

Martha V. Sellers, 89, of Ford City, died Friday, November 30, 2018, in Grey's Colonial Acres.

Born March 12, 1929, in Ford City, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Staryak) Halas.

Mrs. Sellers was a member of Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church. She retired from the Armstrong School District, after 28 years of service in Ford City High School cafeteria. She loved to sew.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela L. (Rick) Lockett of Venice, FL, and Sandy (Allen) Bonnell of New Ringgold; a daughter-in-law, Marie Sellers of Cinnaminson, NJ; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann Leech of Kittanning, and Bernie Temsik of Ford City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sellers; a daughter, Brenda Lee Storey; and a son, John E. Sellers.

At Mrs. Sellers' request, there will be no public visitation or services. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. www.welchfh.com.
