Mary L. Anderson, 64, of Ford City, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, in the ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township.
She was born Oct. 7, 1956, in Kittanning, daughter of Michael and Lugena (Angello) Goyda.
Mary was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church, Kittanning. She was employed by the ACMH Hospital for 44 years as a registered nurse. She enjoyed helping both, the Boy and Girl Scouts. She knitted hats for newborn babies, and liked spending time outside and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her mother, Lugena Angello, of Applewold; her husband, Daniel J. Anderson, of Ford City; children: Melia (Justin) Heilman, of Kittanning, Travis Anderson, of Kittanning and Jenna (Mick) Danckwart, of Weaverville, N.C., one granddaughter, Anna Heilman; and one grandson, Isaac Heilman; brother, Michael Goyda, of Lancaster, Pa.; brother, Larry Goyda, of Pittsburgh; and her twin sister, Anita (David) Simpson, of Concord, N.C.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Michael Goyda.
Friends will be welcomed from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at the Emmanuel (Heilman) Lutheran Church, where services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Damon officiating.
