Maxine M. Liperote, 84, of North Buffalo Township, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, in Heritage Meadows Personal Care Home.
Born August 6, 1936, in Ford City, she was the daughter of Michael and Stella (Reitinger) Matava.
Maxine was a teller at the former People's Bank in Ford City for many years. She was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Cadogan.
She is survived by her daughter, Megan (Jason) Ruffaner of Worthington; her grandchildren, Anna and Cole Ruffaner, whom she adored; and special cousins, Loretta Hrabovsky and Barb Novak.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Liperote.
Friends will be welcomed at St. Lawrence Church, Cadogan, on Monday, from 12-1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the church at 1 p.m., concelebrated by Father Alan Grote and Father Edward Volz, OSP. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.
