Naomi Joy Deemer, 88, of Adrian, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021, in her home.
Born December 25, 1932, in Belknap, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte (Bargerstock) McIntire.
Mrs. Deemer was a member of Crooked Creek Presbyterian Church. She worked as a clerk at G.C. Murphy 5 & 10 in Kittanning, the Superette in West Kittanning, and Clark Mart, Cowansville. She enjoyed going to the Worthington Senior Center and was an avid crafter, doing knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by two daughters, Christie Diane Rice of Ford City, and Joyce Elaine Miller of Adrian; her grandchildren, Amy Brumbaugh, April Urik, Clayton Miller, and Sonya Fornell; her great-grandchildren, Clayton Jr., Dominic, Clarissa, Samantha, Abigail, Isabella, Phillip, Thomas, and Matthew; a great-great granchild, Jessie; and three sisters, Phyllis Crissman of Dayton, Shirley Bowser of Cabot, and Delores Campbell of Canfield, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Deemer.
Friends will be welcomed at the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at Crooked Creek Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, from 10 a.m., until the time of services at 11 a.m. Rev.
