Paula M. (Abate) Dunmire

Paula M. (Abate) Dunmire, 65, of Kittanning died Monday, January 13, 2025, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born July 21, 1959, in Kittanning, daughter of Paul V. and Lois (McGeary) Abate.

Paula was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Manorville, where she served as council secretary.  She retired as an administrative assistant technician from the Keystone Power Plant after many years of service.  She was a dedicated worker, always taking care of others first, including her brother and parents. She loved all animals especially her dog "Gracie."

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Joseph C. Dunmire, and one brother, Mark (Gloria) Abate of Ohiopyle, PA.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Patrick Abate.

Friends will be welcomed at the Welch Funeral Service LLC., 1032 Fourth Avenue, Ford City, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services are private.
