Paulette D. "Poppy" Miller

Paulette D. "Poppy" Miller, 71, of Ford City, died Monday, December 6, 2021, in ACMH Hospital.

Born March 19, 1950, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Paul Edward Johnston and Georgia P. (Smail) Johnston Stitt.

Paulette was the manager of the Ford City Senior Citizens Center.  She was a very artistic person, who especially enjoyed crafting and drawing.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Joshua) Oliver of North Canton, OH; her son, Michael Larimer of Ford City; her grandchildren, Victoria (Stephen) Amodio, Andrew (Samantha) Oliver, Michael Allen Larimer, Jr., Madison Shaw; two stepsons, Michael and Richard Miller; and two brothers, Randy and Timothy Johnston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ira Gilbert Stitt, and a brother, Nathan Johnston.

Friends will be welcomed from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Saturday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Her funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon.  Private interment will take place in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
