Phyllis Ann (White) Cousins, 85, formerly of Kittanning, died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Stafford, VA.
Born February 20, 1936, she was a daughter of the late William James and Rachel M. (Claypool) White.
Mrs. Cousins was a homemaker, and had also worked as a butcher for Andy’s Market.
She is survived by her children: Mark Cousins, Dean Cousins (Sue), Daniel Cousins (Tammy), Lisa Cousins, Rachel Cousins, Rebekah Cousins-Shaikh (Sana Shaikh), and Naomi Martin (Mark); 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gail Bowser (Dick); and two brothers: Mervin J. White (Cindy) and Kermit E. White.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert W. White.
Friends will be welcomed from 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, and from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, at Union Baptist Church. Services will immediately follow in the church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jonathan Hill officiating. Interment will be in Slate Lick Cemetery.
