Robert L. Wolverton Obituary

Robert L. Wolverton, 83, of Ford City, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at ACMH.

Born March 30, 1937, in Kittanning, he was the son of the late Blair and Marie (Mottillo) Wolverton.

Mr. Wolverton was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish in Ford City. He is a retired truck driver of 38 years with Preston Trucking and member of Teamsters Local 249. He enjoyed taking rides, listening to sport games, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his son, Bruce Larimer of Newport, TN; four grandchildren, Jessica (Bart) Sharrah, Jonathan (Stacey) Larimer, Robert Larimer, and Lindsay (Anthony) Capan; four great-grandchildren, Zachary Sharrah, William Larimer, Dominic Capan, and Sawyer Capan; and his daughter-in-law, Brenda.

In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Ann (Horneman) Wolverton.

Per his wishes, there will be no public visitation, and services will be held privately. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Welch Funeral Home in Ford City. To share memories and condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com
