Ronald K. Heilman, 74, of Ford City, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in ACMH Hospital.
Born May 4, 1949, in Kittanning, he was a son of the late Lester and Delores (Rimmel) Heilman.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in the Vietnam War. Ron worked at the former Eljer Plumbingware, Ford City, and retired from Siemens in New Kensington.
He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Church in Cadogan, and a member of the Ford City Sportsmen Club and Cadogan Field and Stream. He enjoyed playing tennis and rifle shooting, and was known to love his cars.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Troyan) Heilman; three sons: Lonny (Kelly) Heilman of Cadogan, Benjamin (Adriana) Heilman of Orlando, FL, and Ross (Carrie) Heilman of Monroeville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Heilman of California; and a sister, Cheryl (Richard) Anderson of Ford City.
Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where Prayers of Transfer will be offered at 9:30 a.m., Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m., at St. Lawrence Church, Cadogan, with The Very Rev. Eric J. Dinga, V.F., as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
