Rudolph "Rudy" Steve Fuller, 92, formerly of Ford City, died Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.
Born March 11, 1931, in Gilpin Township, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Stella J. (Segorek) Fuller Bliha.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Rudy served in Japan and Korea during the Korean War.
He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Church, Cadogan, and was previously a member of the former Holy Trinity Church, Ford City.
Prior to entering the service, he worked at Allegheny Ludlum. After returning home, he was employed by Apollo Natural Gas Company as a gas measurement supervisor, until his retirement in 1994. Rudy was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed gardening, traveling with his wife, going to casinos, walking, and taking care of his grandchildren. He was also a big sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh teams.
Rudy is survived by three sons: David (Carol) Fuller of Sarver, Christopher (Shari) Fuller of North Buffalo Township, and Jason (Heather) Fuller of Oakmont; his grandchildren: Matthew Steven Fuller, Megan Marie Fuller, Craig Joseph Fuller, Halie Nicole Fuller (Ethan Krupa), Brienne Alece Fuller, and Tarah Corrine Fuller; a sister, Veronica Sabonas; a sister-in-law, Christine Fuller; and four nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 54 years, Lorraine C. (Esposito) Fuller; his stepfather, George Bliha; a brother, Robert Fuller; a brother-in-law, John Sabonas; two sisters-in-law, Yvette Evans and Marlene Spencer; and a nephew.

Friends will be welcomed from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Church, Cadogan. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
