Shelfont Eugene Walters

Shelfont  Eugene Walters, 72, of Ford City, died Thursday, November 25, 2021, at his residence.

He was born December 23, 1948 in Kittanning, son of the late Isabelle (Kyowski) Walters.

Shelfont was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Church, Ford City. He retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp. of West Leechburg.

He loved to draw caricatures of people, collecting coins and riding his motorcycle.

Surviving are one sister, Shirley Robinson of Kittanning; nieces, Lorrie Terry and Heather Yount; great nieces, Brittney Anthony, Judi Briggs, and Kyla Yount; great nephews, Logan Yount and Wyatt Terry.

Shelfont was preceded in death by mother, Isabelle Kyowski Walters, two aunts, Cecelia Kyowski and Clara Kyowski and one great niece, Ayla Yount.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Services will be held privately, with interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
