Sue (Lavina Belle Livengood) Kijowski, 83, of Ford City, PA, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at home, with her husband, Spike, by her side.
Sue was born January 21, 1938, in Kittanning, the daughter of the late Bill and Hulda (Livengood) Wonderling.
She was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, Ford City. Sue retired from Moonlight Mushroom Mines in 1993. She also did housekeeping at the Comfort Inn in Kittanning, and in many houses in the local area.
Sue's greatest joy was time spent with her beloved family and friends. She loved biking, and walking in every 5K race in Ford City and many other 5Ks. She competed in many charity races, and was so proud of the medals she would win.
Sue leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Edward "Spike" Kijowski; her children, Rose Alwine (Barry), Marie Kijowski, Gloria Young (John), Nick Kijowski (Mary Ann), Carrie Kijowski, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Janine (Boltz) Kijowski, her in-laws, John and Elizabeth Kijowski; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth "Honey" Livengood.

Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, in the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Prayers of transfer will be offered at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2 p.m., at Christ, Prince of Peace Church, concelebrated by Father Alan Grote and Father Raphael Glinkowski, OSP.
